On Monday, the court was told communication data and evidence recovered from phones logged Ms Wandelt persistently asking Madeleine's mother for a biological test over the past two years.

Madeleine's disappearance in 2007 - as a three-year-old during a vacation in Portugal - is considered the most covered investigations and continues to be open.

'I Do Not Need Money'

Another recorded message, shared in court, documented Ms Wandelt saying: "I know I'm heavy and plain like Madeleine used to be, but I know what I feel."

While one recording of Ms Wandelt's one-way conversations with Mrs McCann's voicemail said: "Imagine there is a small chance that I'm her? What then? Isn't that significant for you?"

"I don't want money, I possess a life here in Poland, I just want to understand," the recording stated.

The tribunal was told that through emails, mobile messages and communications, Ms Wandelt demanded a biological test, sent early photographs to her phone in a attempt to demonstrate a similarity to Mrs McCann's vanished daughter, and stated to have "recollections" from a youth with the McCanns.

Robert Jones, a data specialist with Leicestershire Police who compiled the information, told the court there "seemed to lack any answers" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt furthermore contacted family friends of the McCanns, as per the call data.

On that date, Gerry McCann answered a communication from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, saying she had "the wrong phone."

That day Ms Wandelt left a recording on Mrs McCann's answerphone declaring "I will continue and I plan to establish my claim."

The court learned the co-defendant established a relationship through digital means with Ms Wandelt before accompanying her on a appearance to the McCanns' residence in that area in that winter.

Phone records showed Mrs Spragg had contacted via communication app to Mrs McCann to state the media had portrayed Ms Wandelt as "a crazy person" but that she ought to be considered genuine in the period leading up to the visit to Rothley, Leicestershire, in December 2024.

The court heard correspondence between the two accused, in last November, considering endeavoring to obtain Mrs McCann's DNA samples from her garbage or from cutlery at a eating establishment.

"We must make a stand," Mrs Spragg informed Ms Wandelt.

On the night of the appearance to their residence, Mrs Spragg dispatched a text which expressed: "We're currently positioned adjacent to the McCanns' residence with our vehicle dark similar to detectives. I had hoped to do this with someone else I didn't imagine I would be doing that with the McCanns."

The trial proceeds.
